Position: Project Engineer- Electrical (Chinese Speaker)
Working Location: Desaru
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm; Alternate Sat, 9am to 5pm
Salary: RM8,000 to RM 12,000 (can be negotiate, depends on last drawn & experiences)
Job Description:
Study, highlight and resolve discrepancies in drawings and specifications. Monitor progress; check that quality assurance/ status updates/financial reports are provided along with regular updates to Management/immediate supervisor to ensure efficient allocation of resources. Assist in monitoring subcontractors carrying out M&E works. Check that all works are carried out based on established method statements/procedures, specifications and contract requirements. Supervise and motivate staff; identify learning opportunities for staff development and advancement. Track work progress of subordinates in order to build staff competence on the job and encourage motivation, pro-activeness and job satisfaction of all direct reports. To ensure the delivery of work completion on time, with good quality, and adhering to specification & expectation of customer & company standard. To ensure the production function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors. To ensure that all works are carried out to the specification or standard requirement and with highest efficiency with effective implementation of quality control program. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/mechanical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 - 5 years working experience industrial manufacturing, prefer metal industry.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, SharePoint).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Good command and written of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Mandarin will be added advantages.
