Senior IT Infrastructure and Security

You will be responsible for: -

Network Security Implementation

• Implement and maintain robust network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and prevention systems.

Vulnerability Management

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.

Incident Response

• Develop and execute comprehensive incident response plans to manage and mitigate security breaches effectively.

Network Infrastructure Optimization

• Administer and optimize network infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability, and availability.

Security Policy Development

• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures to protect company assets and information.

Employee Education and Awareness

• Educate employees on security best practices, raise awareness about security threats, and promote a security-conscious culture.

Continuous Monitoring

• Continuously monitor network and systems for potential security threats, anomalies, and unauthorized activities.

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices to maintain the organization's security posture.

For you to be successful: -

• Proven track record in network security and infrastructure management.
• Experience with vulnerability assessments, incident response, and security policy development.
• Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+), with added advantage in networking (e.g., CCNA, Fortinet NSE).
• Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

You will require the following qualifications and skills: -

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field from a recognized Malaysian or international university.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
• Networking and infrastructure certifications like Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Fortinet NSE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the local IT landscape and relevant experience.
