We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to join our fast growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales for a consumer footwear brand. This role involves managing marketing campaigns, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with various teams to ensure that marketing initiatives align with the brand’s overall objectives. The Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the brand’s presence in both digital and traditional marketing channels.
You will also be responsible for:
- Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand growth and achieve business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Create and manage annual marketing plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with brand goals and financial targets.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
- Develop creative briefs and collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to create engaging content and materials.
- Measure and analyze campaign performance, using data to optimize strategies and achieve desired outcomes.
- Brand Development and Positioning:
- Enhance and maintain the brand’s image and positioning in the market, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase brand awareness and loyalty among target audiences.
- Oversee the creation and management of brand guidelines to ensure cohesive messaging and visual identity.
- Digital Marketing and E-Commerce:
- Manage digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to optimize online sales strategies and drive traffic to the brand’s website.
- Analyze digital marketing metrics and leverage insights to enhance online performance and customer engagement.
- Market Analysis and Insights:
- Conduct competitive analysis to understand market dynamics and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Gather and analyze consumer feedback and market trends to inform marketing strategies and product development.
- Prepare and present reports on marketing performance, including ROI, sales impact, and customer acquisition metrics.
- Partnerships and Collaborations:
- Develop and manage relationships with key partners, influencers, and media outlets to amplify brand reach and visibility.
- Coordinate with retail partners and distribution channels to support marketing initiatives and drive sales.
- Identify and pursue strategic collaborations and sponsorships to enhance brand presence and engagement.
- Event Planning and Execution:
- Plan and execute marketing events, product launches, and promotional activities to support brand objectives.
- Coordinate with event vendors, manage logistics, and ensure successful execution of events.
- Evaluate event effectiveness and gather feedback to improve future initiatives.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovation and teamwork.
- Manage agency relationships and oversee external marketing resources and vendors.
We would want to speak with you if you are / have –
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on consumer goods or footwear industry experience preferred.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms, CRM systems).
It would be great if you have:
- Experience with influencer marketing and brand partnerships.
- Knowledge of graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in the footwear industry.
