Job Overview:

Job Responsibilities:

1. Public Relations & Media Monitoring:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local and national media outlets.
  • Draft press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
  • Monitor media coverage and report on the mall's public perception.
  • Address and manage any PR crises promptly and effectively.

2. Event Publicity:

  • Plan and execute publicity strategies for mall events and promotions.
  • Coordinate with event organizers and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Engage with local influencers and media to amplify event visibility.

3. CSR Initiatives:

  • Plan and implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs aligned with the mall’s values and community needs.
  • Coordinate with local authorities, non-profits and community groups for partnerships.
  • Promote CSR activities through various communication channels.

4. Social Media Management & Content Development:

  • Manage the mall’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Develop engaging content (written, visual, and video) to promote the mall's offerings and events.
  • Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Engage with followers and respond to inquiries or comments promptly.

5. Pushcart Management:

  • Oversee the allocation, setup, and management of pushcarts within the mall.
  • Work with vendors to ensure a diverse and appealing range of products.
  • Monitor pushcart performance and assist in vendor relations.

6. Customer Service Oversight:

  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained throughout the mall.
  • Train and support customer service staff.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and feedback efficiently.

7. Advertising & Promotions:

  • Collaborate with retailers within the mall to promote their offers and events.
  • Manage promotional partnerships and sponsorships to enhance mall visibility.

8. Stakeholder Management:

  • Liaise with tenants, partners, and vendors to coordinate joint marketing efforts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and support.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Brand Management:

  • Ensure that all marketing and communication efforts align with the mall's brand identity.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines for consistency across all platforms and communications.

2. Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct regular market research to understand customer preferences and emerging trends.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.

3. Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the marketing and PR budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective.

4. Crisis Management:

  • Develop crisis communication plans and be prepared to act swiftly in case of emergencies or negative incidents.
  • Coordinate with security and operations teams to manage communication during crises.
