Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

Prepare and oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting principles.

Financial Planning & Analysis

Analyze data and develop outputs/solutions which will provide actionable insights to financial and business operations.
Involve preparing budgets and overseeing cash flow and all other financial plans.
Support business leaders/initiatives from financial analysis perspective to drive performance improvements, identify trends and cost savings opportunities.
Support strategic planning initiatives with financial insights and analysis.
Ensure that the business is operating at optimal costs while achieving top and bottom-line goals.

Budget Management

Manage cash flow, allocate & maintain operation budgets, and optimize working capital.
Monitor the company's budget to ensure financial goals are met.

Risk Management & Compliance

Monitor and perform updates of accounting to ensure a robust internal control environment in compliance with local statutory requirements
Establish internal financial controls, conduct fixed assets and year-end stock take, period internal & external audit and implement improvements

Team Leadership

Lead and Mentor the finance team to their full potential by creating opportunities for development and a performance focus driven culture
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Build strong relationships with the various business unit leaders and corporate management teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
Candidate with audit background preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
Ability to identify and manage risks related to client accounts.
Proven ability to drive process improvements and efficiency.
