Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting principles.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Analyze data and develop outputs/solutions which will provide actionable insights to financial and business operations.
  • Involve preparing budgets and overseeing cash flow and all other financial plans.
  • Support business leaders/initiatives from financial analysis perspective to drive performance improvements, identify trends and cost savings opportunities.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives with financial insights and analysis.
  • Ensure that the business is operating at optimal costs while achieving top and bottom-line goals.

Budget Management

  • Manage cash flow, allocate & maintain operation budgets, and optimize working capital.
  • Monitor the company's budget to ensure financial goals are met.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Monitor and perform updates of accounting to ensure a robust internal control environment in compliance with local statutory requirements
  • Establish internal financial controls, conduct fixed assets and year-end stock take, period internal & external audit and implement improvements

Team Leadership

  • Lead and Mentor the finance team to their full potential by creating opportunities for development and a performance focus driven culture
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Build strong relationships with the various business unit leaders and corporate management teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
  • Candidate with audit background preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to identify and manage risks related to client accounts.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and efficiency.
