They are looking for Senior Sales Manager – Semiconductor Filtration (Asia, excluding China)

Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales goals within a defined geography (Asia excluding China) and across specific product groups. The role focuses on driving business development, fostering customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to expand market presence and meet revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and engage new customers in the semiconductor filtration market to generate inquiries, while understanding their needs and applications to recommend the most suitable products and solutions.
  • Market Strategy & Participation: Contribute to the development and execution of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, and customer satisfaction strategies for the targeted market and region.
  • Product Accreditation: Manage company and product accreditation processes, including quality submissions to consultants and clients.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Forecast customer and market trends to support forward planning, while monitoring competitors' activities within the semiconductor market.
  • Account & Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and dealers through regular customer visits and by providing expert consultation on semiconductor filtration solutions.
  • Sales Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including administration, customer service, invoicing, credit management, and collections.
  • Pricing & Competition Analysis: Develop pricing strategies on a project basis, supported by thorough competition analysis.
  • Customer Support: Address customer complaints and manage product returns, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Training & Workshops: Lead seminars, exhibitions, product training, and workshops for distributors, dealers, OEMs, consultants, and end-users.
  • Collaboration & Product Development: Work closely with sales team members, product managers, and technical teams on pilots and new product development to meet regional requirements, providing necessary design support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree in Business or HVAC Engineering (preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience, with a proven track record in the semiconductor filtration industry (with a competitor or system integrator).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Fluent in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs, both stated and unstated.
  • Clear comprehension of the company’s vision, values, and strategies.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable products, services, and capabilities in the semiconductor market.
  • Forward-thinking and customer-focused, with a creative mindset for problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated passion for excellence, with the ability to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Ability to react quickly and build consensus in dynamic situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
