HR Operations - Malaysia
As part of the HR Operations team, this role will be responsible for managing HR activities across Malaysia while ensuring compliance with local regulations. The key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Briefing and registering new employees on employee benefits.
- Managing employee data and personnel administration.
- Handling the working permit processes for foreign employees.
- Ensuring all updates and reports meet statutory requirements set by the Ministry of Human Resources (MoHR).
- Supporting and managing employee engagement programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Serving as the HR Representative for the Malaysia site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of HR operations experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Malaysia.
- Experience in handling employee benefits, data management, and working permit processes for foreign employees.
- Strong skills in communication, both verbal and written, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving and interpersonal skills to manage employee relations and engagement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a regional team, with a proactive approach to driving HR initiatives.
