Job Description

Culture and Engagement:

  • Foster strong relationships within the organisation to create a trusting environment.
  • Work alongside managers and teams to enhance performance and engagement.
  • Implement initiatives to boost culture and employee involvement.
  • Aid in retaining key talent and minimising turnover.
  • Analyse data from surveys and feedback to enhance retention strategies.
  • Actively contribute to culture-enhancing activities.


Talent Acquisition And On-boarding

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and agencies to efficiently meet recruitment needs for the Malaysia team.
  • Assist in the interview process as required.
  • Oversee administrative tasks related to hiring, including budget approvals and visa applications.
  • Manage the on-boarding process for new employees.


Compliance

  • Stay updated on employment laws in Malaysia.
  • Offer guidance to managers and staff on compliance matters.
  • Maintain HR records and policies to meet regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate audits and promptly address any compliance issues.
  • Assist payroll with government report submissions and respond to HR-related inquiries.


Talent Management

  • Facilitate succession planning to cultivate future leaders.
  • Support employee development aligned with business goals and personal aspirations.
  • Promote strong leadership focused on high performance and talent retention.
  • Help managers identify training needs and organise development opportunities.


Compensation, Benefits, And Cost Management

  • Manage headcount and labour costs to maintain budget stability.
  • Conduct monthly forecasts and annual budgeting for personnel.
  • Handle requests for salary adjustments and employee relocation, providing constructive feedback.
  • Oversee the benefits program and support merit reviews.
  • Seek cost-saving measures while preserving organisational performance.
  • Manage employee leave balances.


Data Management

  • Ensure the accuracy of HR data management.
  • Analyse and respond to data requests.


Performance Management And Employee Relations

  • Support performance management processes, including reviews and goal-setting.
  • Address employee issues such as grievances and performance-related concerns.


Projects And Other Responsibilities

  • Lead local HR projects and collaborate on global HR initiatives.
  • Develop programs focused on soft skills and team building.
  • Provide HR analytics and reports as necessary.
  • Prepare for ISO audits and partner with relevant departments on employee welfare matters.


Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement improvements in HR policies and processes.
  • Execute HR strategies aimed at enhancing productivity and employee experience.


The Successful Applicant

  • A minimum qualification of Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or any relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience handling full-spectrum of HR functions
  • A kick-starter who is keen on handling internal process improvements and collaborate with other countries
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Mandarin
