With boundary-layer wind tunnel testing and CFD modelling at the heart of many of our services, we are seeking Graduate Engineers to work across our wind engineering projects, playing a critical role in project delivery, and contributing to the company’s continued growth and development ambitions. The position will be part of our growing Malaysia operation.

The role is well suited to recent university graduates with a prior interest in aerodynamic modelling (wind tunnel testing & CFD) and / or structural effects of wind on buildings.

Primary Duties:

- Responsibility for technical components of wind engineering projects, including:

  • Digital design and preparation of models.
  • Wind climate and atmospheric boundary layer analysis.
  • Pre-processing & mesh preparation (CFD).
  • Execution of simulations, post-processing, visualisation (CFD).
  • Experimental design (WTT).
  • Results interrogation, interpretation & analysis.
  • Preparation of technical and interpretive reports, responding to client and external peer review feedback.

As well as internal coordination of projects, management of external partners & suppliers, and contribution towards the improvement of existing & creation of new procedures.

Preferred Qualifications / Capabilities:

  • A degree in aerospace / structural / civil / mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Some experience of 3D / digital modelling (e.g. Rhinoceros, Autocad, Sketch-Up) is considered to be advantageous.
  • Experience with boundary layer wind tunnel testing is considered to be advantageous.
  • Some experience of programming / scripting in current software development environments (e.g. Python, VBA, Matlab) is considered to be advantageous.

This is a remote ‘work-from-home’ position based in Malaysia. Regular in-person work-related and social gatherings are encouraged.

Salary to be expected is MYR 3,650 to 4,150 per month, with review following a successful initial period with the company.
