Scope of Works:

  • Lead a team of 3 to manage the treasury and AP function of the companies ensures that invoices are approved in accordance with the companies limit of authority (LOA), and supported with 2 or 3-way matched documents, and monthly accruals upload are performed on timely basis.
  • Manages the companies banking portal and liaise the companies commercial banks for banking matters (such as bank guarantee, foreign exchange rate, etc).
  • Ensures payment is made within the credit terms and the LOA, and overdue payments are monitored.
  • Works closely with the PSC Accountant for the management of cash requirement and payment in line with cash call forecast.
  • Ensure compliance to CITA, PITA, and other tax requirements (including but not limited to E-invoice) which include proper tax computation and submission for all companies.
  • Ensures compliance with indirect taxes such as but not limited to sales and service tax, withholding tax, renewal of tax incentives.
  • Focal person for tax audits.
  • Performs financial evaluation for tender exercise.
  • Management and continues development of the Internal Controls in accordance with COMPANY policy.
  • Performs quarterly and/or yearly statistics as per Department of Statistic Survey.
  • Any other projects at managements discretion depending on the operational activities in the department.

Requirement(s):

  • Degree holder in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
  • Professional Accounting qualifications e.g., MIA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • At least 6-8 years experience in accounting and taxation, in particular upstream tax (PITA).
  • Experience in payment processing is and added advantage (AP & Tax experience).
  • Experienced and demonstrated abilities for working in a fast paced, multi-cultural setting.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, accurate and detail-oriented and good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead a team, and work well both independently and with others (external and internal stakeholders).
  • Ability to organize, prioritise, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to work with all levels.
