They are one of the top and most established organisations in Malaysia. Currently looking for an exceptional individual to join their dynamic Finance team as the Head of Financial & Business Planning (FP&A) to be based in Ipoh.


Your new role

  • Lead and oversee financial operations, business office functions, and strategic planning processes.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies, analyze business performance, and offer strategic recommendations to drive organizational growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Perform in-depth financial analyses, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Track and manage financial performance against budgets and forecasts, addressing variances as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting variance analysis and future financial projections.
  • Assess business performance metrics and financial indicators to spot trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate financial and strategic insights to key stakeholders, including the board of management, business partners, and department heads.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure financial goals align with business objectives and implement strong financial management practices.




What you'll need to succeed

  • Must have professional chartered qualifications such as CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA etc.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in the manufacturing, retail, FMCG, or trading industry is preferred.
  • Solid experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role with a track record of managing complex financial projects and teams.
  • Self-motivated and independent with a high degree of initiative, commitment and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Okay with working half day on every alternate Saturday. (average 2 half Saturdays per month)
