Supervisor - Sheet Metal

Job Responsibilities :

• Supervise and monitor daily production activities.
• Lead and manage a team of operators and machinists.
• Monitor production output and maintain high-quality standard's to meet KPIs.
• Initiate and oversee employee training, including onboarding, technical training, compliance with safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage and monitor the operations of bending machines.
• Ensure that the bending process produces optimal results that meet customer requirements.
• Monitor the inspection and measurement of finished products, comparing them with requirements using proper inspection tools.
• Ensure that the daily inspection checklist for machinery is completed and maintained to guarantee functionality.
• Collaborate closely with production supervisors to coordinate and prioritize bending operations.
• Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, providing feedback on issues and changes.
• Be accountable for and responsible for cost control in new tool fabrications.
• Provide feedback and consult with supervisors on necessary corrective actions for process quality problems.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or managers as required.

Requirements :

• The candidate must possess at least an SPM/SKM or a diploma in Mechanical or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in sheet metal (with a priority on bending experience).
• 3 years of supervisory experience in a similar production environment or sheet metal fabrication is an added advantage.
