JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering
  • Able to work independently with least supervision and result oriented minded
  • Able to analyze and interpret Technical Specifications
  • Experience in Equipment, Instruments & Engineering materials sourcing will have added advantages
  • Able to conversate and written fluently in English & Malay. Able to speak multilingual will have added advantages

JOB DESCRIPTION:

WITH THIS POINTS THE PERSON NEEDS TO HANDLE / COPE IN THE DAILY BUSINESS

  • Responsible for Equipment, Instruments & Engineering Materials sourcing
  • To analyze Equipment & Instruments Technical Specifications and their cost effectiveness
  • To negotiate with suppliers on the pricing, payment terms and the lead time
  • To generate Technical DataSheets (TDS) of the selected components
  • To liaise with suppliers and monitor the delivery of the purchased components according to the respective project schedule and arrange mode and destination of delivery.
  • To Assist Sales Team in project bidding costing
  • To Assist Project Team in monitoring the actual cost incurred vs the budgetary cost and report up-to-date project costing status to project manager
