A. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the Company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining accurate financial records. This role of Finance and Admin Officer is key to provide assistance to the Finance & Operations Administration Manager related to the day-to-day general accounting and financial operations of the Company, projects, funders and auditors.

  • Financial Management & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all transactions.
    • Full-set accounting, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports for relevant stakeholders.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivables and ensuring timely payments and collections.
    • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.
    • Maintain fixed asset register and accounting for depreciation and conduct yearly physical asset sighting;

    2. Budgeting

    • Assist in preparation of annual budget and financial forecast.

    3. Compliance & Audit

    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and regulations.
    • Assist in preparation and coordination of audits.

    B. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance. Fresh graduates are encourage to apply as well.
  • Familiar with accounting software QuickBooks will have added advantage;
  • Proficient in Office suite (i.e. Excel, Word processing and Power Point);
  • Independent, meticulous, analytical, resourceful, proactive and possess strong problem-solving skills;
