Major Responsibilities

  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close.
  • Develop and maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems.
  • Preparing monthly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable.
  • GL reconciliation, PL Trend analysis, analysis GL accounts.
  • Review monthly prepaid, accruals and fixed asset.
  • Review and monitor accounts payable sub ledger details and aging report.
  • Develop, implement, maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Maintaining the general ledger system.
  • Assist with the pre-final and annual audit.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Lead ad hoc projects and work as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Manage and develop staff of Accounts receivable and Payable.
  • Handle yearly budget and forecast.
  • Handle yearly tax analysis, work closely with tax agent.
  • Handle company secretarial matter, liaise with Company secretary.
  • Assist with implementation of E-invoicing and digitalisation of claims process.
  • Must have innovation and improvement mind set for Finance Department.
  • Assist in MIDA application for tax incentives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Have Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or in related field.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 3 years in the General Ledger function.
  • Minimum 3 years in a management position.
  • Experience of working with SAP FI module is a plus.
