Major Responsibilities
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close.
- Develop and maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems.
- Preparing monthly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable.
- GL reconciliation, PL Trend analysis, analysis GL accounts.
- Review monthly prepaid, accruals and fixed asset.
- Review and monitor accounts payable sub ledger details and aging report.
- Develop, implement, maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Maintaining the general ledger system.
- Assist with the pre-final and annual audit.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Lead ad hoc projects and work as part of a cross-functional team.
- Manage and develop staff of Accounts receivable and Payable.
- Handle yearly budget and forecast.
- Handle yearly tax analysis, work closely with tax agent.
- Handle company secretarial matter, liaise with Company secretary.
- Assist with implementation of E-invoicing and digitalisation of claims process.
- Must have innovation and improvement mind set for Finance Department.
- Assist in MIDA application for tax incentives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Have Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or in related field.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 3 years in the General Ledger function.
- Minimum 3 years in a management position.
- Experience of working with SAP FI module is a plus.
