Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

1. Taking off quantities, bill of quantities and tender documentation process.

2. Preparation and submission of variation order.

3. Preparation, submission and approval of interim payments claim and final account settlements.

4. Managing sub-contractors in relation to procurement and negotiation. Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support project timeline.

5. Prepare progress reports, progress claims and valuations, maintaining cost budgeting within contractual limits.

6. Other QS related job as and when required.

7. This is a contract position and immediate vacancy.

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

2. Minimum 5 years working experience in building construction industry.

3. Good working attitude, ability to organize, planning and meeting tight deadlines.

4. Attention to details, strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

5. Excellent communication, negotiating and people skills.

6. Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

7. Proficient in computer skills, estimation tools, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products.

8. Able to start immediately and willing to work at construction site office.
