Detail Function / Responsibilities:-
1. Daily financial data entry: Perform accurate and timely entry of all financial transactions into the
accounting system
2. Full set of accounts management: Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general
ledger, and ensure all records are up to date
3. Prepare financial reports: Generate monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and other financial
documents to support decision-making
4. Bank reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial activities are properly
documented
5. Other reconciliations: inter-companies, vendors, etc, to perform on monthly basis to ensure no variance
and to seek clarification with respective parties, so that all transactions are valid and justifiable for
adjustment if any
6. Month-end closing: Assist in the closing of accounts at the end of each month and during year-end
7. e-invoice submission: To do submission via MyInvois portal and to ensure compliance on timely basis
8. Filing management: to maintain/update the completeness of documentation (softcopies) in SharePoint
on timely basis
9. Quarterly BNM reporting: to assist in submission data via External Sector Statistics Portal
10. Ad-hoc support: Provide accounting assistance to management for special projects and ad-hoc financial
tasks

Key Accountabilities:
1. Perform full spectrum accounting for a portfolio of investment holding companies including payment
processing, inter-companies billings and balance sheet schedules etc
2. Complete reporting packs, tax checklist, treasury reports etc
3. Liaise with the auditors during the year-end audit

4. Other ad-hoc information requests/projects

Competencies/Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma in Accountancy
2. At least 3 years’ experience in accounting and/or external audit
3. Familiar with accounting concepts, and able to keep full set of accounts for investment holding entities
4. Conversant with SAP and Microsoft office 365
5. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and reconciliation
6. Ability to communicate in spoken and written form in clear and concise manner
7. Ability to build good rapport and work effectively with subsidiaries finance team, within group finance team,
and across departments
