Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Human Resources Manager to establish and lead the HR function for this newly established company. This role will be crucial in developing HR policies, building a strong team culture and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Function Development:
    • Design and implement the HR framework, including policies, procedures, and best practices tailored for a newly formed workplace environment.
    • Establish HR processes for recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
    • Develop a talent acquisition strategy to attract and hire a diverse and skilled workforce.
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to interviewing and onboarding new hires.
  • Compliance and Policy Management:
    • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, keeping up to date with changes that may affect the organization.
    • Create and implement employee handbooks, policies, and procedures that support a positive work environment.
  • Culture and Team Building:
    • Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s values.
    • Organize team-building activities and initiatives to promote employee engagement and collaboration.
    • Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts.
  • Performance Management:
    • Create and implement performance appraisal systems that encourage employee growth and accountability.
    • Work with team leaders to set performance goals and provide coaching as needed.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career advancement.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning through workshops and mentorship opportunities.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Develop competitive compensation and benefits packages that attract and retain talent.
    • Conduct market research to ensure offerings are aligned with industry standards.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting:
    • Execute HR department’s daily operations and administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
    • Establish HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and report on key performance indicators to management.
    • Use data to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
