JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in the role of Legal & Integrity Executive/ Senior Executive. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting a culture of integrity, ensuring compliance with governance laws, and enhancing the efficiency of our systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate in the development and delivery of integrity awareness training for both external vendors and internal employees.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our online systems, ensuring they align with industry best practices.
  • Assist in tracking and following up on cases, participating in investigations to ensure thorough and timely resolution.
  • Collaborate on audit activities and conduct in-depth investigations to establish facts and maintain a high standard of compliance.
  • Evaluate the current system flow against Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and recommend improvements to optimize processes.
  • Take an active role in reviewing and updating Integrity and Governance Unit's (IGU) SOPs and specifications to reflect the latest industry standards.
  • Implement systems that align with SOPs and governance laws, such as an online whistleblower application system and awareness/training tracking system.
  • Ensure that IGU and SilTerra adhere to ISO 37001 standards, conducting regular checks to maintain compliance.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and updates, maintaining an accurate record of IGU activities in our online system.
  • Oversee and maintain IGU's online applications, including the Gift Declaration and annual refreshment on Code of Conduct and ABC policy.
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to contributing to the success of the Integrity and Governance Unit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Law (LLB) or Risk Management or other relevant field of studies
  • Experience in the compliance or audit related roles is not essential but will be an added advantage.
  • Systematic and disciplined.
  • Team player with good communication skills and committed to assigned tasks.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and yet provide regular updates as necessary.
  • Able to prioritize workload effectively and deliver on ambitious timelines.
  • Responsible and with integrity.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office.
