- Develop and implement Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.Create and deliver EHS training programs for employees.
- Oversee ISO 14001 compliance and lead the Safety Standardization System.
- Monitor and report EHS performance metrics.
- Experience with Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) systems for exhaust gas treatment.
- Skilled in operating Air Pollution Control Systems (APCS) to ensure compliance with Department of Environment (DOE) regulations, including meeting discharge standards.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including licensing, compliance, and updates on new requirements.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on EHS initiatives.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably within a manufacturing setting (PCB industry).
- Experience in project management and plant start-up is advantageous.
- CePBFO (bag filter) competency is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., DOE/DOSH).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (both verbal and written) is advantageous, with the requirement to collaborate with the China team.
- Willingness to undergo training in China for 3 to 6 months.
