Operations/Halal/Quality Executive

The Operations/Halal/Quality Executive oversees the operations, Halal certification, and quality management of bb.q Chicken stores across Malaysia. The role focuses on maintaining efficiency, quality standards, and ensuring Halal compliance. It involves developing operational plans, optimizing processes, and collaborating with the finance team for business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restaurant Operations: Ensure smooth operations across all stores, adhering to SOPs, and maintaining health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Halal Certification & QA/QC Management:
  • Halal Certification Maintenance: Ensure that all stores are Halal certified by working closely with JAKIM and other relevant authorities, keeping certification up-to-date and ensuring strict compliance with Halal regulations.
  • Halal Compliance Monitoring: Implement and monitor Halal procedures across all stores, providing training and support to staff to guarantee consistent adherence to Halal practices.
  • Store Halal Certification Management: Assist stores in obtaining and renewing Halal certification, ensuring all documentation, processes, and facilities meet JAKIM standards for approval and renewal.
  • Audits and Reporting: Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with Halal and quality standards, preparing reports and identifying areas for improvement to maintain high levels of trust and integrity in all products.
  • Compliance: Monitor and ensure all stores comply with local regulations, including food safety and labor laws, through regular audits.

Requirements:

  • University degree.
  • Experience in Halal certification and quality management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and process optimization skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure; proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, and POS software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in franchise/multi-store management.
  • Minimum 3 years of F&B experience, particularly in fast-casual or quick-service environments.
  • Knowledge of the Malaysian market; fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Korean knowledge is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
