JOB SUMMARY

Maintain the cleanliness of all guest rooms, public area and back of the house areas. Plan, direct and control the housekeeping department in a smooth and efficient manner. Provide a safe and orderly environment for both guests and employees. In charge of furniture, fixtures and equipment upkeep of every room. Supervised assigned areas of the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department within the established Hotel policies and procedure.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire hotel.
  • Ensure that rooms are made as per Company standard.
  • Conduct daily spot checks of rooms to ensure that hotel brand standards and SOP's are consistently implemented.
  • Prepare Annual Housekeeping Budget and Monthly Report
  • Develop and implement Housekeeping system and procedures
  • Coordinating the preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and public area with maintenance department
  • Evaluate staff work performance and planning and organizing staff training and development schemes
  • Prepares stock inventories on a monthly basis to control and monitor losses and wastage in linen inventory, room amenities, chemical usage, laundry cost, uniform control and other departmental relating expenses.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
