Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, remote Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the AC2 team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our business growth, driving lead generation and developing sales opportunities.

As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential clients through outbound prospecting, building and nurturing a strong sales pipeline, and collaborating closely with the sales team to meet company goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills, a passion for technology solutions, and a strong drive to succeed in sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and social media to identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities for AC2’s Wave WMS solutions.
  • Qualifying Leads: Engage with inbound leads to understand their business needs, challenges, and fit for AC2’s solutions, qualifying them as sales opportunities.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or product demonstrations between qualified leads and the sales team to move prospects forward in the sales process.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead interactions and progress within the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Market Research: Gather and analyze market and industry insights to refine prospecting strategies and better understand client needs.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the marketing and sales teams to optimize messaging and campaigns, effectively targeting key decision-makers such as Heads of Operations, Chief Information Officers, and warehouse management teams.
  • Follow-up: Perform timely follow-ups with leads to nurture relationships and guide them through the sales funnel.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in hunting sales or business development, ideally related to Cloud, SaaS, Warehouse Management Solutions, Supply Chain Solutions, ERP Solutions, or Enterprise Application Solutions.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey value propositions to potential clients.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM systems, email automation tools, and LinkedIn for prospecting.
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to understand client pain points and propose solutions that address their business challenges.
  • Resilience: Persistent with a positive and professional attitude, capable of handling objections effectively.
  • Team Player: A strong collaborator, willing to work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
