Job Responsibilities: -

  • Partnering the Business, to provide financial insight for the management, to ultimately ensure financial data is available anytime anywhere, to drive sound decision making.
  • Working closely with shared service team, to ensure smooth proceedings of company day-to-day finance reporting operations.
  • Develop good understanding of industrial software solution business model and end-to-end financial processes and implications.
  • Maintain monthly management pack including financial analysis and forecast.
  • Business control – partner with various departments to assist in develop and monitor budget and forecasting models for Business P&L and key balance sheet items.
  • Working with shared service operation team, to support month-end closing, accounting, tax and transactional matters.
  • Actively engage in new business model discussions and provide relevant financial support.
  • Participate digitalization and automation of the Business and refinement of it, especially on financial system related matters

Job Requirements: -

  • 3+ years experiences in financial management/ controlling/ Business Partner role in a software/technology sector, ideally in a commercial finance role but not required.
  • Understanding of cross-border billing between Malaysia, Singapore and China, service tax and withholding tax matters, some experience dealing with these issues are ideal but not essential.
  • Solid accounting knowledge especially on revenue recognitions for technology business, in both project-based Capex and SaaS sales models.
  • Demonstrable capabilities in translating operational matters into financial stimulations and vice versa.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with non-finance people and build business relationship to success.
  • High level communication skills with the ability to converse in English and Mandarin to a professional working level
