We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in soil and rock mechanics, foundation engineering, and site investigations. You will play a key role in designing, analyzing, and ensuring the stability of infrastructure projects while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geotechnical site investigations, including soil sampling, borehole logging, and laboratory testing.
  • Analyze soil and rock data to determine the suitability of foundations and structures.
  • Design foundations, earthworks, retaining walls, and other ground improvement solutions.
  • Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and provide recommendations for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
  • Monitor and evaluate field activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical designs and HSE regulations.
  • Assist in risk assessments and contribute to environmental impact analyses.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in geotechnical engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, soil mechanics, or foundation design.
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, software, and relevant codes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, etc.).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with project management and coordination.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices in engineering.
