A prominent MNC Freight Forwarding company is on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead their Air Freight division in Klang. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the air freight operations, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the end-to-end air freight operations, including import/export, customs clearance, and delivery logistics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments, leveraging insights to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, maintaining the highest levels of safety and quality.
• Manage the division’s budget, optimizing costs while driving profitability and growth.
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance service offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within the air freight or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of air freight operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
