(A) Job Purpose

  • Develop and monitor all AR internal controls and processes in relation to the invoice issued, payment received and collections functions.
  • Support the Finance Team with any ad-hoc tasks.
  • Managing billing, invoice, and payments accurately as per the company’s policies and procedures and the customer’s requirement.
  • Manage the Company revenue and collection to ensure data is recorded on time and accurate.
  • Abide and apply to all audit requirements.
  • Abide to the Health and Safety regulations of the company (HSE)

(B) Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the billing and invoices to ensure the billing accounts is accurate and billed accordingly.
  • Manage the payment collection from clients to ensure all payments been done timely.
  • Manage the collection and accounts receivable to secure the Company’s revenue
  • Prepare and check regular interval reports of accounts and payments, invoicing totals, aging totals, collections.

· Posts billing ,payments by recording into billing system.

  • Review and improvise invoicing and collection procedures to meet the customer needs and requirements.
  • Negotiate and liaise with external customers on non-payment disputes, invoicing, debt and other matters
  • Improvise revenue management functions in terms of invoicing and collection process
  • Perform and analyze account reconciliations to ensure the accounts is correct and to have a full view of the statements and forecast
  • collaborate with other departments related to revenue to ensure billing accuracy
  • Reconcile Site Catalogue database with Commercial Management and Audit Compliance monthly for comparison with billing.
  • Communicate with respective department for monthly invoice issued
  • Analyse statement of accounts and outstanding issue
  • Producing monthly financial reports

(C) Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Five or more years of accounting/finance experience is advantage (experience with credit and collections is a plus)
  • Combination of education and experience may be accepted.
  • Understanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • An ability to work independently
  • Strong teamwork
