The Product Marketing Executive has overall responsibility for the product success with execution of the marketing strategies for software products by implementing internal and external activities to assist the sales organization in maximizing sales growth and profit contribution.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation and enabling the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure they are aligned and work efficiently to generate and close opportunities
  • Product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and working closely with engineer, sales and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met
  • Conduct market assessment feasibility and potential for new product positioning including but not limited to marketing trend, competitor (SWOT)
  • Facilitate cross-functional launch committee, coordinating procedures and schedules for new product launches
  • Introduce and promote new product to sales channels
  • To identify potential segmentation needs, plan and execute products promotion activities
  • Prepare sales and marketing strategy, ie market attack plan, target market approaches etc
  • Monitor and compile monthly product performance report which includes sales and organization feedback for assigned category, ensuring products are competitive in generating profit to company
  • Review data analysis and strategic actions for improvements and countermeasures
  • Monitoring and tract the effectiveness of the product strategy and promotions
  • Monitor marketing materials to ensure all information is accurate and up to date internally and externally
  • Responsible to conduct product training, delivering product values etc
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for webinars, events etc
  • Work and liaise with vendors on new product/product updates, price and contract negotiation etc
  • Manages day to day sales operations such as ordering process, product enquiries etc
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree, preferably in IT, Business Administration or relevant.
  • Min 2 to 5 years' experience, IT knowledge or corporate Sales experience will be an added advantage.
  • Proficient with MS Excel skill (pivot, vlookup, goalseek, sumproduct)
  • Strong analytical skill.
  • Able to articulate and possess effective presentation skills.
