Technician (Penang Branch)

Job Responsibilities:

1) To carry out routine maintenance and repair works for equipment in Pulau Pinang area.

2) To carry out routine maintenance according to monthly maintenance schedule prepared by Supervisor.

3) To attend any breakdown/mantrap instructed by Supervisor.

4) To carry out rectification works for defects/comments highlighted by the JKKP inspector.

5) To assist for JKKP second schedule inspection for servicing job sites.

6) Report the daily activities includes call-backs, shutdown and service units to Branch Manager.

7) Ensure timely submission of the servicing job sheets, breakdown and repair/replacement job sheets.

8) Report to immediate superior for any unsolved problems.

9) To receive and act on any other instructions from Senior Manager, Northern Region or any other person so delegated by him/her.

Working Experience:

3 years’ working experience in elevator industry.

Qualifications:

SPM / Professional Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering /Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering or related fields.

Skills / Knowledge (or any special requirement):

1) Working knowledge in lift and escalator industry.

2) Have valid motorbike license

3) Knowledge and experience in providing field technical services.

4) Excellent communication skills.

5) Able to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision.

6) Able to discharge its responsibilities irrespective of day or time.

7) Able to judge, evaluate and make prompt decision.

8) Good analytical skills, positive thinking and proactive in problem solving.
