Job Descriptions and Key Responsibilities
- Work with Director of Sales to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase the business.
- Work with Director of Sales to implement sales plan addressing revenue, room night, event type and sales strategy of the market segment assigned.
- Identify new business opportunities for both local and international market.
- Build good business relationships with corporate, government, association, and event planning clients.
- Strong ability to develop trust and maintain positive relationships with clients to drive future business.
- Handles event inquiries, sales call, negotiate terms, close sales, event planning, coordinating and execution as well as post events follow-ups.
- Plan, coordinate and work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and delivery, including venue, F&B, conference requirements, theme park, entertainment, accommodation, team building, transport and other event arrangements.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted sales strategies and materials that resonate with prospective clients.
- Coordinate with with Marketing, Public Relations and Social Media team on post-event to collect testimonials, feedback, and success stories to drive future businesses.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to enhance future events.
- Manage clients, providing expert recommendations, up-selling and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Attends client events, trade shows and sales mission to expand network and business opportunity as well as brand presence.
- Manage event budgets, proposals, commercial terms and Event Order.
- Ensure all events follow MICE SOP and comply with relevant policies and regulations
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field.
- 3 – 5 years in hospitality and event management.
- Excellent verbal and communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Dynamic 365 for business needs.
- In-depth knowledge of the MICE industry, including trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
- Travel is required for client meetings, site inspections, and industry events.
