Job Description
- Advisory Role: Provide compliance and organisational guidance to management and employees on relevant topics and policies.
- Monitoring and Control: Review and monitor the compliance management system to ensure alignment with local laws and regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and analyse compliance risks, particularly regarding anti-corruption and anti-bribery, and implement mitigation measures.
- Training and Communication: Design and conduct training sessions on compliance topics, ensuring awareness within the organisation.
- Internal Investigations: Conduct investigations into potential violations of internal regulations or external laws, recommending appropriate actions as needed.
- Collaboration: Work with management to define compliance goals and further develop the compliance management system.
- Educational Background: Degree in Law or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in legal, compliance, ethics, internal investigations, or internal audit within a multinational company.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws, particularly the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong writing skills.
- Integrity: Excellent ethical standards and a value-driven approach.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organisation.
- Self-Starter: Independent and confident decision-maker, comfortable with potential disagreements.
