Job Summary

The Sales Consultant assists and supports the Head of Marketplace to generate leads, contact potential customers; nurture and maintain existing customer relationships. The Sales Consultant supports customers in decision-making by identifying and offering solutions aligning to customers’ requirements by working closely with the senior leaders and other departments in Borong.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the Marketplace Business Development team to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Understand customers’ (buyers’) needs and requirements and offer solutions and support to address their needs and requirements.
  • Support in negotiating terms and agreements, following up with potential customers (buyers), providing additional information, and responding to customers’ queries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers (buyers) and prospects.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a pipeline of prospective customers (buyers).
  • Prepare a regular sales report to track sales activities, progress, and pipeline.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on customers’ feedback and sales data.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • SPM , Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Psychology, or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably a B2B environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with buyer acquisition is a plus.
  • Verbal and written communication - ability to understand and clearly communicate with customers and internal teams
  • Analytical skill - ability to gather and analyse data to monitor industry trends, identify business opportunities, and provide consultation to customers
  • Stakeholder management - ability to build and maintain relationships with customers across all levels
