KEY ACCOUNTABILITY
- Oversee the monitoring, detection, and response to cybersecurity threats and incidents through SOC.
- Manage incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, including disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT)
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to assess the effectiveness of the cybersecurity program.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the security of outsourced services and technologies.
- Conduct due diligence and security assessments of third-party vendors.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Preferably 5 to 8 years’ experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
- Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and encryption.
- Sound knowledge on cloud native security tools implementation on various public clouds such as Azure, AWS and GCP.
