Position: Project Engineer

The key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Participate in equipment installation, operation, and maintenance at AIT facility.
• Take lead in AIT facilities operation, maintenance, and upkeep.
• To source and procure hardware/equipment to support AIT activities.
• Interact with external customers, suppliers, manufacturers, and governing agencies. Participate in satellite production activities.
• Prepare and operate mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE) during satellite production activities.
• Compile data for, review, and author technical documents, including analysis packages, requirements documents, and comprehensive technical evaluations.
• Oversee design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing of mechanical components for space applications.
Requirements:
• Engineering Bachelor’s Degree In Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Civil, Communication/RF, Computer, Mechatronic, Software or related fields.
• Proven working experience (+/- 5 years) as project engineer.
• Proficiency in PCB design tools such as EAGLE, Altium, or EasyEDA
• Proficiency in simulation tools such as STK, CST, and Proteus.
• Knowledge in CubeSat space protocol (CSP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
• Project management and supervision skills
• Decision making ability and leadership skills
• Current engineer license
• Time management and organization skill
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with minimal supervision.
