- Prepares necessary paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules, in an organized and timely manner.
- Analyzes operational issues, such as theft and wastage, and implements procedures to address them.
- Fills in for colleagues as needed to maintain guest service standards and ensure efficient operations.
- Purchases or requisitions supplies and equipment to ensure quality and timely service delivery.
- Inspects and maintains all equipment, ensuring cleanliness and excellent working condition by following the restaurant’s maintenance programs.
- Arranges for equipment maintenance and repairs, and coordinates services such as waste removal and pest control.
- Schedules and receives food and beverage deliveries, checking the quality and quantity of products received.
- Assigns duties and responsibilities to employees based on work requirements.
- Schedules labor according to anticipated business activity, ensuring all positions are filled and labor costs are controlled.
- Handles various financial activities, including cash handling, deposit preparation, and payroll.
- Controls cash and receipts by following cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
- Investigates and resolves complaints related to food quality, service, or accommodations.
- Manages personnel actions, including hiring, termination, orientation, training, and scheduling.
- Administers fair and consistent corrective actions for violations of company policies and procedures.
- Provides feedback to superiors on service quality and operational improvements.
- Follows operational instructions and guidelines from superiors.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an assistant managerial position, preferably in F&B.
- Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for a managerial role.
- Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Required skills: Results-oriented, team player, positive attitude, customer-oriented, self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to prioritize.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
