Executive, Group Finance

Job Description:

• Assist in Group Finance roles in maintenance of the financial consolidation system and other finance systems (e.g. updating chart of accounts, etc).
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including preparation of instructions, templates and workings.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements, quarterly reports, Board papers, management reports, analyses or other ad hoc reports.
• Assist in the review of Division or DXC submissions (for financial reporting and tax), including raising and following up on queries.
• Assist in the research/assessment of new accounting standards/ pronouncements/ regulatory requirements and undertaking relevant benchmarking exercises.
• Identify and implement improvements where necessary to achieve finance process efficiency.
• Assist in responding to queries and requests from external auditors, tax authorities, external parties/ stakeholders, other departments or Divisions.
• Assist in handling full set of accounts and related financial reporting activities of entities which includes timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, asset verification, regulatory/compliance submission requirements, etc.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax filings, including SST, and corporate income tax, while staying up to date with changing tax regulations.
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of entities.
• Assist in other ad hoc tasks relating to the Group Finance department.
