The Role

If you are a software sales support professional looking for an opportunity to grow, AspenTech has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia location, you will be supporting the sales function by ensuring a high rate of customer renewals, supporting new business, and helping the technical team with sales administration.

Your Impact

  • Manage the region’s software license and maintenance renewal data/forecasting/renewal rate statistics
  • Research every existing customer’s contract, before quoting and attempting to renew a customer’s license and maintenance renewal
  • Ensure price changes, if any, are reflected and are included and articulated to the customer
  • Collaborate with account managers to ensure that the company’s standardized license and maintenance renewal process is adhered
  • Ensure the renewal activity is properly tracked/input in Salesforce.com for every renewal opportunity
  • Sell the value (i.e., software updates, local support, etc.) of license and maintenance renewal to the customer and negotiate any discount requests and/or product cancellations the customer elects during the renewal process
  • Forecast future renewal revenue monthly to management and articulate any specific customer roadblocks that may prevent an on-time renewal to management

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience with software sales, administration, and renewals
  • Willing to travel within APAC, frequency <10%
