JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for executing buying and selling transactions for EPF’s domestic and Asean public equity investments based on instructions from the Fund Manager, aiming to achieve the predetermined key performance indicator (“KPI”)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for overseeing the execution of stock trading transactions covering the Malaysian and ASEAN markets.
• Ensure best execution in terms of price, transaction cost, market participation and block deals to achieve the investment objectives
• Provides insights and recommendations related to stock market demand, such as market sentiment, foreign flows, and other relevant factors, to help the Fund Managers determine the appropriate investment strategies under current stock market conditions
• Provide daily income report updates and analyse executed transactions to ensure best execution in terms of pricing and compliance to the relevant guidelines.
• Assess the efficiency of strategies from algo platforms offered by EPF’s panel brokers and will use the data to strategize future transactions.
• Perform other duties as required or instructed by the supervisor from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS

• Malaysian Citizen
• Obtain a pass in Bahasa Malaysia, including an oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government
• Possess a Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government from any local or overseas higher learning institutions. Knowledge and understanding in Accounting, Business Management, Banking, Finance/Investment preferred
• Candidates with at least 5 years of working experience in related fields will have an added advantage
• Independent, highly disciplined, prioritizes work and able to achieve the desired performance
• Has interpersonal communication skills
• Has leadership qualities and ability to work in teams
• Good time management
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
