About the Role

Responsible and accountable for providing technical input in renewable energy project portfolios, conducting feasibility studies and technical due diligence assessments for all elements of civil and structural.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To review and evaluate the project portfolio contracts and documentation for the preparation of technical feasibility studies, technical reports and etc.
  • To provide technical support to the Business Development Team in developing and executing integration plans for the acquired business / joint ventures to maximize synergies and operational efficiency and achieve integration objectives.
  • To collaborate closely with business development and corporate finance on the technical feasibility evaluation and provide valuable insights on the final strategic decision.
  • To review the technical specifications, drawings, and design reports related to civil and structural system works for renewable energy portfolios. This involves analyzing, collating actions, and chasing responses. To perform due diligence, risk assessment analysis, and identify the potential technical challenges and opportunities that could impact the successful execution of transactions. Concurrently, to adopt value engineering method during the assessment for the cost-benefit analysis.
  • To provide civil and structural’s technical support on multiple projects, ensuring work quality is maintained at the expected standard, statutory law, and authority requirements.
  • To prepare the technical support on construction info for the construction/ project team when necessary. To ensure the construction engineering and deliverables and tie back with the technical and engineering requirements within the project cost and timeline.
  • To liason with the stakeholders (internal and external project teams), monitoring and managing the technical deliverables programme including to respond on technical queries to be in line with the scope of work and project schedule.
  • To lead and review the subordinates' technical and engineering work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering or related, with a minimum of 10 years relevant working experience.
  • Experience in RE project preferred.

  • Strong analytical and verbal communication skills.
  • Committed, confident, determined, self-motivated and a team player.
