My client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cyber Incident Response Associate to join their dynamic APAC team.

Responsibilities of a Cyber Incident Response Associate:

- Coordinate responses to cyber incidents, focusing on containment, remediation, and eradication of threats.

- Handle a range of security incidents, including ransomware, malware, DDoS, BEC, and insider-related breaches.

- Provide expert guidance to clients during and after incidents, ensuring rapid and effective resolution.

- Develop and implement comprehensive incident response plans, while documenting lessons learned for future improvement.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a robust incident management and recovery process.

- Conduct digital forensic investigations across cloud, network, server, computer, and mobile devices.

- Maintain clear and concise communication with clients in English throughout all stages of the response process.

Requirements of a Cyber Incident Response Associate::

- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, including incident response and digital forensics.

- Hands-on experience managing cyber incidents such as ransomware, DDoS attacks, malware outbreaks, and insider threats.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in English.

- Willingness to travel to client sites in Kuala Lumpur 2-3 days a week.
