  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The School of Medical and Life Sciences (SMLS) at Sunway University is dedicated to providing healthcare and life sciences education with a focus on research and service excellence. Established in 2021, SMLS combines departments and research centers from the School of Health and Medical Sciences and the School of Science and Technology. SMLS comprises five departments and three research centers, offering a diverse and innovative environment for research and education.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Research Assistant/ Research fellow in nursing/ health services research at the School of Medical and Life Sciences, Sunway University in Bandar Sunway, Selangor. The role involves conducting research activities, collaborating with the academic community, and contributing to the development of healthcare and life sciences knowledge. Daily tasks may include literature reviews, data analysis, report writing, and research project management.

Qualifications

  • Research skills, including literature reviews and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Knowledge of health services research or nursing practices
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nursing, Health Sciences, Life Sciences)
  • Experience in research project management is a plus
  • Knowledge of research methodologies and statistical analysis
