Job Title: Personal Assistant (with Accounting/Legal Background)
Salary: RM10,000 / month
Working Location: Muar, Johor
Job Descriptions:
Administrative Support:
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for senior executives.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute them as required.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for legal or financial documents.
Document Management:
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, contracts, financial reports, and correspondence.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing legal or financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain records of invoices, receipts, contracts, and other confidential documents.
Financial/Legal Assistance:
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including tracking expenses, processing invoices, and preparing expense reports.
- Assist in financial reporting, budget preparation, and monitoring expenses.
- Conduct legal research and gather information on relevant laws, regulations, or financial policies.
- Help with the preparation of legal documentation, filings, and case summaries.
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate projects and assignments, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Liaise with internal departments and external clients on behalf of the executive or partner.
- Track project timelines, document progress, and communicate updates.
Client and Stakeholder Liaison:
- Act as the point of contact for clients, partners, or other stakeholders.
- Organize and manage travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
- Prepare itineraries and ensure travel-related documents are up to date.
Confidentiality and Compliance:
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
- Ensure all financial and legal documents are compliant with relevant regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Accounting, Legal Studies, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in a PA role, preferably in a legal, accounting, or corporate environment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of legal or financial terminology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of local and international accounting or legal standards.
- Experience with case management systems, legal research tools, or financial reporting software.
- Familiarity with compliance procedures in the legal or financial industry.
