  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Automation Engineer Selenium at Softenger located in Kuala Lumpur City. The Automation Engineer Selenium will be responsible for troubleshooting, process control, electrical engineering, automation, and robotics. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to ensuring the smooth operation of automation processes and systems.

Position: Manual + Automation Tester

Project: permanent role with Softenger

Budget: RM 7,000 max

Work Location: Menara Great Eastern, Level 5 | 303 Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur

POSITION OVERVIEW : Manual + Automation Tester

Responsibilities

* Review and analyze system specifications

* Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans

* Prepare efficient test cases

* Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results

* Create logs to document testing phases and defects

* Report bugs and errors to development teams via HPQC

* Help to troubleshoot issues

* Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

* Arrange and participate daily de-brief meeting

* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

* Experience in project management and QA methodology

* Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus

* Experience in Insurance Domain

* Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

* Working knowledge of test management tool - HPQC

* Excellent communication skills

* Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

* Strong organizational skills

* BSc/BE in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
