Position Overview
They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing procurement strategies, optimizing the supply chain, and ensuring that the company achieves the best value for its investments. This position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, maintaining transparency and ethical standards.
- Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, resolving any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of achieving cost savings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Knowledge of data center operations and technology is a plus.
