We want to invite applications for the position of FULL-TIME Research Assistant (RA) for a 6-month contract period at Makmal Bahan Termaju, Jabatan Kejuruteraan Mekanikal, Fakulti Kejuruteraan, Universiti Malaya.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate for this project. The candidate should have a strong background in ELECTROCHEMISTRY, ELECTROCHEMICAL SENSORS, and MEASUREMENT TECHNIQUES.

PROJECT TITLE:

Development of highly sensitive hydrogen peroxide sensors using commercial carbon electrodes.

REQUIREMENT:

· Master's Degree or PhD student with a strong background in electrochemistry, electrochemical sensors, and measurement techniques).

· Must be able to start immediately.

· Able to work independently, report closely to PI, and efficiently execute tasks given

· Passionate and committed

JOB SCOPE:

· Modification of carbon commercial electrodes with highly reactive materials.

· Performing electrochemical testing (OCP, CV, and CA) to study the performance of commercially modified

electrodes.

Monthly allowance of RM 3,000.
