1. Installation and Assembly- Install electrical systems, equipment, and wiring according to safety codes and standards.
- Assemble and mount electrical control panels, power distribution systems, and related equipment.
- Test and validate new installations for safety, performance, and compliance with specifications.
2. Maintenance and Repair- Inspect electrical systems and equipment regularly to identify potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical systems, including circuit breakers, wiring, and electrical controls.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical components to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Perform electrical work for customers site (within and out of Klang valley)
- Ad hoc tasks assigned such as supervising site, commissioning of company related products and assisting factory floor when available.
3. Testing and Calibration- Use diagnostic tools to test and calibrate electrical equipment.
- Ensure that all electrical installations and repairs meet regulatory standards and safety codes.
- Document testing results and adjustments made during troubleshooting.
4. Upgrades and Modifications- Upgrade existing electrical systems to enhance efficiency and comply with updated codes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide upgrades and modifications.
5. Safety Compliance and Documentation- Follow all safety protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of electrical repairs, installations, and inspections.
- Train team members on electrical safety, emergency protocols, and proper equipment handling.
