As an established player in such a competitive industry, my client has been a household name in the region for the last several decades. They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager based in the Klang Valley to drive and rapidly expand the company's B2B enterprise services business.

Job Description

Among the many responsibilities, some are as follows:

• Sales and Revenue: Achieve annual sales targets and revenue goals through local business opportunities and deal negotiations.

• Business Development: Prospect and develop new business opportunities, building networks and leveraging sales venues.

• Client Relationship Management: Assess client needs, build sustainable relationships, and use CRM to track interactions.

• Collaboration & Solution Development: Work with local service-line teams to develop client solutions and collaborate with marketing on campaigns.

• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new opportunities and make informed strategic business decisions.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be confident in growing the business and steering the company to the most profitable position, while having the drive to establish new businesses across the region. It's critical you have an all-rounded experience and must possess the requirements below:

• Bachelor's degree & above with at least 5 years of B2B business development and commercial sales experience at a mid to high level.

• Experience in Property Developement, PropTech, Data, or SaaS is highly advantageous!

• Driven to explore new opportunities, demonstrating strong skills in prospecting and lead validation.

• Capable of successfully steering and overseeing complex enterprise deals throughout the entire sales cycle, including product demonstrations.

• Resourceful and persistent, skilled in navigating customer structures, identifying key decision-makers, and mapping potential opportunities.

• Credible and commercially savvy, adept at blending technical knowledge with consultative selling expertise.

• Possesses excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills for collaborating with diverse colleagues and customers, building strong relationships.
