Our client is a leading medical device provider globally, with a strong presence in the APAC region. They are currently hiring for an experienced HRBP to join them, based at their PJ office.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for creating people strategies that align with the goals of the management, supporting both Singapore and Malaysia.

  • Work with management to evaluate and align organizational capabilities with business strategy.
  • Maintain an "outside-in" approach by applying industry trends and company's best practices to enhance talent strategies.
  • Develop strategic initiatives aimed at improving organizational effectiveness, with a focus on team dynamics and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the organization has the right structure, design, and staffing models.
  • Guide and facilitate organizational design and leadership transitions.
  • Advise leaders in line with company's policies, legal requirements, and company priorities, balancing both company and employee interests.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, offering feedback, performance coaching, and development support to enhance leadership effectiveness.
  • Partner to execute regular talent reviews, career development plans, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational health initiatives.
  • Collaborate to identify key talent for leadership and functional roles, strengthening the talent pipeline and promoting diversity.
  • Support the implementation and communication of compensation and benefits programs to attract, motivate, and retain employees.
  • Work together to proactively address and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Lead efforts toward inclusion & diversity goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 6 years of relevant HRBP experience in Malaysia. Regional experience is highly advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of local employment & labour legislations and experience handling business partnering matters from a HR point of view.
  • Ability to be hands on and multitask in a fast-paced organization.
  • Strong analytical & communication skills and ability to influence multiple diverse stakeholders.
