About The Role

Join our dynamic team as a Software Developer focused on creating desktop applications for aerial mapping analytics used in industrial monitoring. This role is crucial for developing software solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency in real-world settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conceptualize complex Windows desktop applications.
  • Build and implement a scalable, maintainable and complex desktop application.
  • Able to integrate APIs into the desktop application.
  • Work closely with team lead and stakeholders in gathering feedback and requirements for translating into technical features.
  • Guide and provide mentorship to junior software developers.
  • Documenting the development progress and guidelines for references.
  • Provide consistent technical support, manage troubleshooting efforts, resolve bugs, and facilitate effective updates and upgrades of the application.
  • Collaborate in Agile methodologies, participate in daily SCRUM meetings and get involved in SPRINT activities.
  • Work with QA closely in resolving bugs and ensure clarity in communication.

About You

  • Tertiary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related field.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, and Python.
  • Knowledge of C++ for integrating software components is added advantage.
  • Excellent documentation skills to accurately reflect development processes and changes.
  • Good communication skills.
