We are Hiring

A motivated and capable Internal Audit Manager to join our Legal & Compliance team. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer and BigPay Malaysia BOD

About the job

  • Responsible for planning and managing company wide audit plan which include financial, regulatory compliance and operational audit.
  • Conduct periodic assessments on the effectiveness of the control system in place to mitigate risk and promote the control culture of the company
  • Responsible for conducting special audit investigations as and when necessary, or upon request by an appropriate regulatory authority;
  • Liaise with all departments within the company to ensure effective and efficient auditing of operations;
  • Coordinate audit activities with external auditors;
  • Recommend changes in policies and procedures in a way that shall impact positively on the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Audit unit in the company;
  • Monitor and review business performance every year;
  • Undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

To be successful

  • At least 6 years post-qualification working experience with 2 years in a managerial position;
  • Have experience with auditing in financial institutions
  • Considerable knowledge of accounting principles, practices, procedures and generally accepted auditing standards;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of risk management, financial, legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. FSA/AMLA/PDPA);
  • Result-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills;
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
